On 9th and 10th of September we had the Congress of Italian Association of Lingual Orthodontics and the ADSC Meeting.
Thanks to the hospitality of Professors Giuseppe Siciliani and Luca Lombardo we had the pleasure to have here in Italy Dr. Moody Alexander who gave us a piece of history of his father Wick about the pioneering phase in Lingual Orthodontics as a member of the original “task force” in the early 80’s…….
The day after he lectured a magistral lesson about the principles of AD and the new things about this technique.
The feedback of both ADSC members and Postgraduate students was enthusiastic and we can say that Moody has started a new path in the Alexander Discipline that will continue the wonderful road opened by Wick many years ago………
I giorni 9 e10 settembre all’Università di Ferrara si sono svolti il Congresso dell’ Associazione Italiana di Ortodonzia Linguale ed il Meeting dell’ADSC.
Grazie all’ospitalità dei Professori Giuseppe Siciliani e Luca Lombardo abbiamo avuto il piacere di avere con noi il Dott. Moody Alexander che ci ha fatto rivivere la storia dell’Ortodonzia linguale facendoci scoprire una parte meno conosciuta della vita del padre Wick come membro della “task force” che all’inizio degli anni ’80 sperimentò i primi attacchi linguali.
Nella giornata seguente ha tenuto una lezione magistrale sui principi dell’Alexander Discipline e sulle attualità riguardanti la nostra tecnica.
Il feedback sia dei membri dello SC che degli studenti del Master di Ortodonzia è stato di entusiasmo e possiamo dire che Moody ha aperto un nuovo percorso nel mondo dell’ Alexander Discipline che continua la meravigliosa strada incominciata da Wick tanti anni fa…..
